You have heard it said that people are "creatures of
habit." Well, nothing could be more accurate. We are indeed creatures of
habit. We have constructive, useful habits like brushing our teeth, going to the
gym regularly, eating vegetables, doing our homework. The list goes on and on.
But we also have destructive, negative habits: drinking alcohol, smoking,
gambling, not exercising,
chewing tobacco, trichotillomania (compulsive hair pulling), cutting oneself,
shop-aholicism, excessive worry, being late for appointments and sexual
addiction. And hypnosis can help. Click below for just a few applications of
hypnosis fort habit change:
It is important when breaking a habit that a person has a
strong reason to want to change for hypnosis to be most effective. Habits reside in the subconscious mind and can
stubbornly resist our efforts to remove them. They become so conditioned that
they happen automatically without much conscious intervention. In addiction treatment,
this motivation is called "bottoming out." Only when you are truly tired of
paying the price the negative habit demands will you have the psychic energy to
alter it through hypnosis or any means.
Hypnosis helps you change habits this by bypassing your conscious mind
going directly to the subconscious. The old habit is removed with hypnosis
suggestions and replaced with
feelings of pride and accomplishment.
Some of the most dramatic transformations in hypnosis and hypnotherapy
occur in habit change. Here are a few comments from clients about their
experience with hypnosis:
Hypnosis to Stop Cocaine
Habit
Hi John!
I cannot thank you enough for helping make a major change in my life. When I
left after our hypnosis session things were so different for me! I have such a positive
feeling about everything now!.....its really hard to describe! I have not used
(cocaine) since our visit . All I think about is how you said the quality of my
life will skyrocket..... and it has tremendously!!!!! Then those stupid thoughts
of using all go away.
I feel fantastic!!! I cannot thank you enough!!!!!

Dear
John,
I wanted
to keep you updated on my progress. I believe today is 9 or 10 weeks SmokeFree
and loving it, in-fact I hate being around someone who is smoking.
Everyday there are times that I feel like having a smoke, but I
wait a minute and the feeling goes away. Thanks for Your help and have a
very happy and safe holiday season.

Hypnosis for Procrastination
Dear
John,
All
my life I have had a problem with completing things. I was a great starter, but
a very poor finisher. And by not completing what I started I was robbing myself
of success. Simple as that. The hypnotic
past-life regression
you brought me through has changed that. The "past-life" that I experienced was
both fantastic and very real. I saw myself clearly as another incarnation and
also saw why I had been blocked. To make a long story short, my prior life as a
brilliant, yet rebellious student had been cut short. My resistance to my
teacher had elements of the brat in it and my problem with finishing things was
an expression of it. Well, the relief was immediate and has been expanding ever
since the session. My own work as a healer has been facilitated and I know this
is just the beginning. Oh yeah, it was also a VERY ENTERTAINING afternoon.
Thanks you.

Hypnosis for Habit Change: Flossing Teeth
Dear
John,
Bleeding gums are no fun. Yet try as I might I just couldn't seem to get into
thehabit of regular flossing.
Your hypnosis helped me to change all that. My dentist is happy. I am happy.
What I have trouble understanding is how one session could alter a lifetime
habit of NOT flossing and not even brushing like I should. It has been 8 years
since we met and flossing and proper
dental hygiene
are still a regular part of my life. I appreciate the opportunity to share my
(and your) success through this note on your website.
